They’re Back! 1950’s Retro Aprons
The Society is pleased to offer a reproduction of a 1950s apron. The original belonged to Clara M. Hargreaves, the grandmother of the current Lake Oswego Library director, Bill Baars. Bill kindly allowed us to reproduce the apron as a fundraiser for the Society. Each one is hand sewn locally, the design is silk screened, and it is packaged with the story of the apron, including a copy of Clara’s handwritten recipe for zucchini bread. The cost is $30, or $35 shipped to you.
Aprons are also available for purchase at two Lake Oswego locations: Nicoletta’s Table and Marketplace at 333 S. State Street, Suite M, open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Phone (503) 699-2927 and the Lake Oswego City Hall store at 380 A Avenue, Suite 3, open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
