Join us at the Lake Oswego Public Library for a talk with local historian Mark Browne about Elizabeth Lord & Edith Schryver, the first women in the Pacific Northwest to own and operate their own landscape architecture firm in the 1930’s. The Lord and Schryver Conservancy restored and maintains one of their designs at Gaiety Hollow in Salem, OR.
Talking about historic landscapes seems just a bit more timely now that Bishop’s Close has been saved from development.
