Thayne Johnstone Logan worked for over 20 years with his partner, Robert Barrett, and the firm name was Barrett & Logan. John Davis Annand, Sr. practiced in the Portland area for over 50 years. Only one structure in Lake Oswego has been identified as his work. Annand’s firm designed numerous high schools and secondary schools throughout Oregon as well as the School of Architecture and Theater buildings at the University of Oregon. George Morrison Post practiced for 40 years. When Oregon began licensing architects in 1919, Post became the first executive secretary of the Board of Architect Examiners.
