Dougan, Luther Lee

Luther Lee Dougan was a prominent architect in Portland for over 50 years. There is only one known extant building that he designed in Lake Oswego.

In partnership with Chester A. Houghtaling, the firm designed many important buildings including Portland’s Medical-Dental building, the Studio building, and the Eastern Outfitting store.

Dougan died in Palos Verde Estates, California in 1983 at the age of 100.
