The Society has embarked on an ongoing project to identify and document significant residential and commercial buildings in (Lake) Oswego and Lake Grove designed by prominent architects. Please find examples below of some of the information being compiled for this project. This resource provides the foundation for the annual Classic Houses and History boat tour on Oswego Lake, presentations, walking tours, and other events (see the “Events” page) that promote the Society’s mission: To support Lake Oswego’s historic fabric through advocacy and education.

The source of the biographical information is Architects of Oregon: A Biographical Dictionary of Architects Deceased – 19th and 20th Centuries by Richard Ellison Ritz.
